Got some flyers done for a few upcoming shows in the city. First up, is a 3-day mini fest at Rueben's Palace. Been doing alot of poster design work for friends and their bands in addition to my own bands' art. It works out well cause I get my work out, help friends out, and get to do art for bands I love!Case in point is Heavy Times, fronted by my good bud, Bo Hansen. He's been at it for awhile as a solo project and recently joined up with Matt on guitar and Kyle (from Cacaw) on drums. Saw them as a fully formed band a couple weeks ago at Ottoman Empire, and they left me deaf for two days. Needless to say, they brought it. They have a new LP, "Dead", on the way via Rotted Tooth in the coming months. More on that as it comes, for now, check out their myspace page for some new jams. The flyer is inspired by some new Heavy Times song titles and lyrics. They're opening up for Olympia, WA bad-asses Broken Water at the Mopery on March 31st.
